ADDENDUM to the TV = The Devil post...

Gar said that I had to let everyone know that he DOES NOT watch American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance or Grey's Anatomy.

TV = The Devil

There are SO many good shows out there that we spend our night's a weekends in front of the tube. Gar and I watched Season 1 and 2 of the office and were hooked. We LOVE Hero's and didn't miss an episode, we watch the Sopranos and Entourage on Sundays... American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, Grey's Anatomy... The list goes on and on.

So when Lost came out we didn't watch it, we just didn't have the time. But Gar found this "Lost Survival Guide" and thought it looked pretty interesting. So we rented the 1st season, and in a week we watched it all. So on the the 2nd season. The 2nd season finale was the biggest cliff hanger that we downloaded the first episode of the 3rd season... we are dying to see the rest of it... What the heck happened to Lock and Echo?... What the hell is the DHARMA?... Why are Rose, Lock and Jin healed?... Who are these people?... So many questions, so little answers. To say the least... We are hooked once again! The 3rd season needs to come out on DVD and FAST!!!!

Toby

This boy is crazy. He is like a little kid. With his own personality, his own little mind. He is just SO damn cute, I can't stand it!!!

The other night we were hanging out at the apartment and we looked over and Toby is just as comfortable as can be... all spread eagle up on the couch pillow totally zonked. We died laughing and Gar grabbed the camera and took some quick shots. Thought I'd share... Enjoy.

The Office

I'm addicted... That's all I have to say. Gar and I got into this show at the end of season 2 and were hooked. Gar started to watch season 1 and he LOVED it. So we borrowed both seasons from a friend and finished them in about a week. This has got to be one of the best comedies. Thank the good lord for DVR. Sometimes Gar and I have to pause the show cause we are laughing so hard. We are HOOKED!!! The 3rd season has not let us down.
We just got done watching the season finale and WOW. I'm sooo happy! It could not have ended better!!!!! I SO HEART JIM AND PAM!!! Boy an I a sucker for happy endings and tonight's show... Lets just say it's about time. All season long Jim and Pam have been killing me. And at tonight's finale, oh so sweet! I cried.

(Oh and at the very end with "Temp" and Kelly, I died laughing!!!)
Jim may now be my ONE. Forget Brad or Matthew (Pitt and Mcconaughey for those of you who don't know who I'm talking about). They have been my boyfriends for quiet some time now, but I really think that Jim is rapidly moving into first position! I love him!

The 5K

Well we did it. We ran the race and finished. Gar was nice and stayed with me the whole time. Total there were 16,000 people there to run/walk the race. I couldn't even believe it. The Gateway was packed. We were on the stairs of the Energy Solutions Arena waiting for the time to start and took a few pix of all the thousands of people.
It was quite the experience with all those people there. Those that survived breast cancer wore pink t-shirts. It was crazy to see how many there were. I felt really great to help the cause to find a cure.

Now, let me just preface that running on a treadmill is A LOT different/easier than running on the road out in the elements. It was a tough run. I'm not the best runner in the world and 3 miles is a long way. I really don't know how people do more than that. I think I will stick to the 5k's.

I wanted to do it in 33 minutes or better, but since it did kick my butt a little more than I thought, I did it in 36 minutes. Gar did it in 35. He stayed with me keeping me going and being a great help. I tend to become a little bitchy when the workout starts to kick my ass, and he is great, he just stays by my side. Gotta love him. Then right towards the end, he ran to the finish line so he could take a pix of me running across it. What a man!!!
Well, it was a good experience and I would do it again... But I will just stick to the 5k's and leave the longer races to the crazy people!

RACE FOR THE CURE

Tomorrow is the big day. Gar and I are doing the 5K run, Race for the cure for breast cancer.

My goal is to do it in 33 minutes... Keep your fingers crossed.

The Simpsons

The night of the midnight Spiderman movie they had a HUGE display for the new Simpson's movie. Now the pix are not that big, I took them with my phone, but they are cute. The display was the Simpson living room with them on the couch and at the end was a spot for you to sit.

The Amazing Spiderman

Last Thursday at the stroke of MIDNIGHT we were at the FIRST showing of Spiderman 3. Those midnight shows are something else. I wish I would have brought my camera. There was a full grown man in full Spiderman costume. I was dying. When he walked in, everyone cheered. NERD ALERT!!!!! But the funniest thing was, they showed a bunch of nerd movie previews and there were cheers after all of them. But after the Harry Potter one, some guy yelled out, "LAME"! We died laughing. He took the words right out of my mouth!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!
Spiderman 3 was good. Not my favorite. The first one is my fav. But over all it was entertaining. Toby M is an ugly cryer... And I'm not a fan of what's her name... The one that plays MJ... But, good ending to the trilogy.

I was going through some pictures and found some cute ones of the nieces and nephews. So I thought I'd share. These were all at Eve's "Wicked" birthday party. Adam looks really happy...
Beck said that Benjamin had to wear his boots. TOO CUTE. Rio had her pink boots on too. I love those two kids...All I said to get this pic is, "Rio, look over here". And this is what I got... LOVE HER!
